Welcome to www.brittanyspaniel.com. Formerly called the Brittany Spaniel(From 1934-1982). In September of 1982 the name was changed to Brittany dropping the word Spaniel. The Brittany has a rounded skull, tapered muzzle, short ears, brown eyes, a flat or wavy coat, is dark orange and white or liver and white in color; has a docked tail, and straight front legs. First brought to the United States in 1931, the breed is used as a sporting dog, especially in pointing and retrieving small game and birds. Other breeds of dogs may also be found on this website.
